About Us

Our Foundation, Our Vision - a brotherhood built on tradition and purpose.

“A river that forgets its source will dry up.”

Our History

The King’s College Old Boys’ Association (KCOBA) is the proud alumni network of King’s College, Lagos — one of the oldest and most prestigious secondary schools in Nigeria. Established by an Act of the 18th British Parliament, King’s College began academic activities in September 1909 in the then colony of Lagos. The college was envisioned as a training ground for future leaders, committed to academic excellence, discipline, and civic responsibility.

As generations of students graduated and left their mark across Nigeria and beyond, a collective desire emerged — to stay connected, support one another, and give back to the school that shaped them. Thus, the King’s College Old Boys’ Association was born. Over the decades, KCOBA has grown into a dynamic, intergenerational brotherhood that champions the values of unity, service, and legacy.

Leadership & Chapters

KCOBA is governed by a National Executive Council, supported by regional and international chapters to ensure wide representation and active engagement across the globe. These chapters function autonomously while aligning with the overarching mission of the Association. Regular meetings, reunions, and events foster unity and keep members informed and involved. Whether you're a recent graduate or a seasoned professional, there’s a place for you in KCOBA. Membership is open to all alumni of King’s College, and we invite you to be a part of this enduring legacy.
