Biography
Dr. Leke Oshunniyi is a distinguished medical
practitioner, seasoned healthcare administrator, and the current President of the King’s College Old
Boys' Association (KCOBA), a role he was elected to in 2023. An alumnus of the King’s College, Lagos,
where he attended from 1971 to 1976, his tenure at the institution laid the groundwork for a life
dedicated to service and leadership.
A Mobil Scholar, Dr. Oshunniyi graduated with a medical degree from the University of Ibadan Medical
School in 1982. He further enhanced his business and administrative expertise with a Diploma in Finance
from Harvard University. This unique blend of medical knowledge and financial acumen has defined his
impactful career in healthcare management.
His professional journey includes serving as a Director of the Royal Cross Medical Centre in Ikoyi,
Lagos, since 1990. In 1997, he became a Founding Director of Multishield Ltd, a leading Health
Maintenance Organization, where he was appointed the Managing Director in 2012. Dr. Oshunniyi is also a
prominent figure in the Nigerian healthcare sector, serving as the Chairman of the Health and Managed
Care Association of Nigeria (HMCAN).
As KCOBA President, he brings his extensive experience in leadership and administration to serve the
alumni community and advance the welfare of the college. Dr. Oshunniyi’s commitment to his alma mater
and the broader community is a testament to the enduring values of King's College.
